Congratulations to CDT-CMP Cohort 2 Student, Torsten Jensen has been published in Nature Scientific Reports.
The work solves a decades-long mystery as to why the organic mineral karpatite fluoresces blue when exposed to ultraviolet light but glows green when grown in a laboratory. The research could improve the design of devices made using organic crystals such as LED’s and solar cells.
